The ADK-KU042 is an FPGA development board built around the AMD Xilinx Kintex UltraScale XCKU040 (XCKU040-2FFVA1156I), in a core-board plus carrier-board design. The core carries 4GB of DDR4 on a 64-bit bus; the carrier brings out a PCIe 3.0 x8 interface, 20 GTH transceivers at up to 16.3 Gb/s, two SFP+ fiber ports, three FMC expansion ports (two LPC and one HPC), Gigabit Ethernet and two SMA ports, suiting machine vision, motor control, image processing, optical inspection, industrial automation and software radio.
