The ADK-9656 is an 8-channel AD acquisition FMC subcard providing 16-bit sampling at 125MSPS per channel. It complies with the VITA 57.1 specification and couples to an FPGA front end as an IO module: the eight AD channels connect to the FPGA through a high-bandwidth FMC HPC connector, greatly reducing system signal latency. Two AD9656 quad ADCs perform the conversion and an HMC7044 clock chip provides the JESD204B clocking. It is aimed at communications and wireless infrastructure, radar, broadband and millimeter-wave communications, and automatic test equipment. A board support package (BSP) is provided, with FPGA support for the Kintex-7 and Virtex-7 series.
